Compression Load Cells | Compression Force Sensors

Compression load cells convert a compressive force into an electrical signal. It does this via the strain gauges attached to the load cell’s central beam. As a compressive force is applied, the strain gauges deform which produces an electrical signal relative to the compressive force applied.

Our selection of compression load cells offer ranges from 0-25 grams to 0-1500 tonnes, with non-standard ranges available on request. Design styles include S-Beams, canisters, columns, low profile, load pins, annular, shear beams, single point and button.

All compression load cells by Applied Measurements can be supplied with analogue or digital instrumentation including amplifiers and signal conditioners, signal digitisers, displays and indicators and wireless radio telemetry equipment. Applied Measurements also provide calibration traceable to UKAS standards certification on all compression load cells and systems.

Applied Measurements compression force sensors can also be supplied with installation accessories including load button, silo and vessel mounts, mounting bases, loading caps or custom design fixtures helping you to achieve optimum loading and compression measuring conditions.
