Description
The DPT200 is no ordinary differential pressure transmitter. It’s extraordinary and best in class accuracy of ±0.075%/FSO sets it apart from the competition. It also benefits from a HART® Communication digital output. Designed to be used in the process industry it will work equally well with wet or dry media, providing that the media is not corrosive to stainless steel.
The DPT200 HART® Communication digital output allows additional data to run down the same two wires as the analogue 4-20mA signal. This data includes pressures, sensor health, calibration and alerts. A HART® enabled transducer also permits remote configuration and commissioning.
The DPT200 also comes with an optional backlit LCD display that allows for real time pressure measurements to be observed should localised monitoring be required. Furthermore, its tough die cast aluminium or optional stainless steel (304) housing allows the transmitter to withstand harsh environments readily.
The sensor will work at static pressures up to 400bar depending on the chosen measuring range, and can be configured with scaled measuring ranges as low as 0-1mbar. Full details of configuration possibilities are provided on the technical datasheet.
This industry leading differential pressure sensor can also be configured to meet the following ATEX standards:
- Ex-version group I
- Ex ia (intrinsically safe version for firedamp mines)
- Ex-version group II
- Ex ia (intrinsically safe version)
- Ex d (flameproof enclosure)
Don’t need such high accuracy or HART® Communication in a differential pressure sensor? Then consider our DMD341 differential pressure sensor. It has a similar pressure range, but offers great value for operations that don’t require extremely high levels of accuracy, liquid media, aggressive gases or HART® communications.
