Simon our Technical Sales Engineer and company Pun Master is retiring.
A rare few of us ever get to the prestigious position of Pun Master so we thank Simon for taking the time to impart upon us his immeasurable and vast punning-wisdom, while earning only a mere eye roll or groan from us in com-pun-sation.
Please join us in wishing him all the best with his retirement. The pun-free office will not be the same without him.
His retirement has crept up on us all of a Saturn, so being a moon of many words we thought we would ask him to note down a few words of wisdom. After all the pen is meteor than the sword!

Quantum Mechanics, General-Special Relativity, Cosmology, Astrophysics & history, Byzantine Empire, Roman Empire and The Anglo-Saxons.
What have you most enjoyed about working at Applied Measurements?
Learning a new discipline. The staff and more customers.
How did you get into engineering?
As an eight-year-old child, my transistor radio broke, so I built a new one, with books from the library.
If you hadn’t gotten into engineering, what would you have done instead?
Research in areas of Astrophysics & Cosmology.
