Description

The handheld blow-by flow meter system VH563 includes the VF563 in-line flow meter plus a handheld readout. The flow meter measure crankcase blow-by and is attached to the crankcase vent in crankcase ventilation systems. Whilst the handheld readout displays the ACFM (Actual Cubic Feet per Minute) on its LCD screen.

Applied Measurements are a UK-approved distributor for J-TEC flow meters.

This system gives a real-time visual readout of the flow being measured. By monitoring blowby flow this system can determine if there are any piston ring failures or leaks.

The Flow Meter has minimal pressure drop, with minimal restriction to the flow, meaning you are not generating backpressure on the crankcase to get the measurement.

It is very simple to use. Connect a hose to the in-line of the flow meter that’s connected to the crankcase vent. The real-time blow-by measurements are displayed on the handheld readout.

Various inlet and outlet diameters are available depending on the size of your engine. From a small 3/8 Inch (9.5mm) up to 1 inch (25.4mm).
