Congratulations to Wendy Jeffery, Applied Measurements’ Sales and Marketing Assistant, for completing her first ever half marathon on Sunday 5th October. She completed the course in the fantastic time of 2 hours 04 minutes.

Wendy ran the Basingstoke Half Marathon in memory of a friend’s daughter Ruby Thompson who sadly passed away on the 7th June this year, aged only 4 years old. Ruby had been battling with cancer since she was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma at 11 months old. The money raised will go to the Sebastian’s Action Trust who provide vital support to seriously-ill children and their families.
Well done Wendy for completing the Basingstoke Half Marathon. We are eagerly awaiting details of next year’s challenge!
