Description

The CTUS low profile ring torsion load cell design is suitable for high capacity compression measurement and weighing applications where a low-height assembly is desirable such as vessels, silos and weighbridges.

The ring torsion measuring principle employed in the bending ring load cell design provides excellent accuracy to 0.02% of rated capacity, it also enables the load cell to be hermetically sealed via fully-welded construction providing IP68 sealing.

The high level of sealing and stainless steel construction the ring torsion load cell is ideal for use in process situations where regular washdowns are required to maintain hygiene standards.

In addition to high accuracy, the ring torsion load cell also offers excellent thermal stability characteristics to cater for applications where temperature variations are commonplace.  This is complimented by excellent long term stability.
